Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Landing Pad 26 for the Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers, this is for a quantity of two pads. Now, these landing pads will provide the mounting points for your Yakima SkyLine and Control towers, those towers we do sell separately on our website. Basically, these landing pads will install into the Yakima classic or HD tracks, and it holds your towers in place. It does include everything laid out here on the table, the two metal plates, the two bases, the two covers, the four bolts with the washers, four spacers, and a nice hex wrench for tightening them down. And these are pretty easy installation, all you have to do is take this metal plate, slide it into the Yakima classic or HD track, and then you attach the base to it.
Now, one thing I do wanna mention, they include these four plastic spacers, those would be used if you're gonna put these into classic tracks, they do require the spacers. If they're gonna go into the HD track, you just install it without the spacers. But again, you just put the landing pad over it like that, take your bolt and washer, line it up, same way with this side, and then once you get the holes lined up, use your hex wrench and just tighten them down into place. Align your landing pads along the track where they're needed, and then go ahead and tighten them down with the hex wrench. Now, you're able to attach your SkyLine or Control towers to these bases.
These bases are a nice UV resistant plastic base, which will protect your vehicle from any scratches, and what's nice about it, when your towers aren't attached to that, you can leave those on there, and then just take this cover, snap it over there, and that'll protect that landing pad from any damage or from anything dirt building up, and then when you're ready to attach your towers, just pop the cover off and attach your towers to that. Again, the specs for this, this is for a quantity of two pads. But that should do it for the review on the Landing Pad 26 for the Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers..
